This is a reminder that the SGD awards cermony is today at the Central Campus from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Below is the announcement. This is a great event and you shouldn't miss it. However, I'm aware that some of you may not be able to get to Central Campus. You will not be counted off for not showing up. Come see me for Extra Credit if you show.
Please Join us as we hand out the SGD awards for the Spring semster where we recognize our outstanding students. We will have a key note speaker, Randy Greenback from Red Storm Entertainment, covering topics that will include independent game development and mobile games. We will also celebrate our US ImagineCup champions followed by a presentation from our winning team. As you may have heard, for the second year in a row, CPCC's SGD team has taken top honors at Microsoft's Imagine Cup. On April 26th, CPCC's team won the Grad Prize at the Imagine Cup's U.S. Competition in Washington, D.C., beating teams from such respected institutions as Yale University, the University of Southern California, the University of Houston and the University of California.
We will also be holding a game tournament at the end of the event.
